Have you noticed that today games are not quite what they used to be.
Yes yes, I understand a new generation means new tastes. I guess the golden days are just over.
I still like some of the games today, just not the ones that are the same as the one before it.
Take "First person Shooters"... sidescrollers, platformers, fighters and rpgs have moved on right?
Well our generation is about making fps games, and how to suck the living whatever out of it.
Past few years , all started when Halo came out. People started to ignore other titles, the very innovative and fun games just didnt look appealing. Though some of us picked them up and found them to be great. Breakdown,Shadow of the Colossus,GodHand... ex
I find it funny though, that most fps games suck.
Back when there was not many fps games, games like GoldenEye and PerfectDark took the industry by the throat. The result is what we have today, developers get lazy with they're games. Leaving us with games that try to stand tall with the beasts that shaped them.
I just miss those days.
p.s that perfect dark 360 game made me cry.
